Updated in Pokemon GO. Initial reports are positive for players from rural areas.

Two major updates were announced by Niantic for Pokemon Go last week. The map will be updated to reflect the new map. This is a change that was not possible before. The distribution of spawns will also be better. It would make it easier to distribute spawns around the most crowded areas of cities, and more people would flock to the more remote spots. Last night, the spawning system was changed.

We have to work with what we learn from players initially, but rural players (players that live in the countryside) tend to be very optimistic. This doesn’t mean that all players will be able to benefit from this information, but it is certainly worth looking at. Also, we would love to know what your thoughts are on the proposed changes!
