The first Elite Raids are now available in Pokemon GO!

We announced yesterday that Elite Raids will be coming to Pokemon GO, so today’s the day. How will this new gameplay feature impact the game? It is however a tiny part of a larger game. We must experience it today before we can see the future. This has also been confirmed by Niantic

• Pokemon GO’s new Elite Raids is a type of raid that’s not available in the past.
• These eggs, which are called Elite Raid eggs and come with a 24-hour clock, have been appearing all over the world.
• Hoopa Unbound is here as a Raidboss
• He can be defeated only locally, not remotely.
• You have a shot at catching him if you defeat this one
• Raidboss lasts just thirty minutes
• Today’s eggs will be released at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2012 at 2:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. today.
• They will be back in Pokemon GO later this year.
