Niantic 6th anniversary launch Pokemon GO

It was revealed last night by Niantic that the Pokémon GO 6th Anniversary Event would be taking place. After this weekend, we’ll be able to participate in the latest event in Pokémon GO. Before then, there’s the Pokémon GO Fest Berlin, but here’s what’s next:

  • On July 6th, the event will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 8 p.m.
  • Party Hat for Charmeleon, Charizard, and Cake with Party Hats Pikachu makes his debut in the game.

    • The following Pokémon can be found more frequently in the wild than others:

  • Squirtle*
  • Cake Costume Pikachu*
  • Machop*
  • Ledyba*
  • ralt*
  • Bunary*
  • Venipede

    • *There are special raids including Cake Costume Pikachu
    *There are special Field Research Tasks that will give you starter Pokemon
